Firstly, let’s establish whether I’m free on your wedding date, and connect over the phone to feel if we are a good fit. From here I like to catch up for an initial meeting to get a feel for who you are as a couple and chat through my approach as your wedding celebrant. There is no charge for this catch up, and of course no obligation. I am based in North Auckland on the Mahurangi West peninsula; however online works well too! Once you have made the decision to book me as your wedding celebrant, I require a small deposit to secure your booking.
Your tailor-made ceremony
It is your day, and the possibilities are endless!
From here, I’ll send you some things to think about, followed by a longer catch up where I begin to really get to know you and your vision for the day. How did you meet, and what is most important to you as a couple? What is your unique love story, and what do your dreams for the future look like? From here, I custom-design an individual ceremony incorporating all of the aspects that are important and unique to you, as well as ensuring all legal aspects are covered. I’ll collaborate with you to ensure your ceremony is perfect; taking on feedback, additions or edits until you are 100% happy with everything.
Rehearsal, if preferred
No surprises – your ceremony will be exactly as you have approved it.
A rehearsal is a wonderful opportunity to give you confidence for the big day. It’s a chance to iron out the details, and it helps with pre-wedding nerves. I offer two celebrant packages, with the more basic package not including a rehearsal, so this part of the process is based on your preference. Your rehearsal would ideally be at the location of your wedding so it acts as a dry-run for the real thing.

Your love story, values, family stories and spiritual beliefs can all be woven into the thread of the ceremony and performed in a fabulous venue of your choosing. Laughter and fun can all be part of your special celebration. Your ceremony can be woven in a tone that is true to you and respectful of your style.
My role is to ensure that your ceremony is exactly as you wish, helping you to craft a day filled with love, laughter and magic memories.
